More languages and charts have arrived in Orca.

Boating in the Mediterranean is something special. The crystal clear waters, sandy beaches, and stable weather make for a truly stunning experience. Plenty of Orca owners already know this: In the past three months, almost 25% of all boating with Orca happened in the Mediterranean. 

At Orca, we’re continuously working to extend our chart coverage, and it may not come as a surprise that the most requested country to include so far was Italy. From today, all Orca customers have access to Italian charts.

In addition to the new charts, Orca’s user interface is now available in Italian and French. 

By default, Orca will use the same language as your phone or tablet. You can adjust this via Settings > Account > Language, should you want a different language.

Looking further ahead

We've come a long way since launching two years ago, but this is only the start.

In the coming months, more chart areas are coming to Orca along with new languages. First, we aim to complete the chart coverage of the Baltics and the Mediterranean. After that, Australia and the Caribbean will follow. In parallel, localizations for Danish, German, and Norwegian will arrive.

Areas shaded in blue are available in Orca. The green areas, covering the Baltics, Turkey, Australia, and the Caribbean, will arrive in the coming months.

Our ambition for Orca is nothing short of complete world coverage, but we want your feedback on which countries and regions to prioritize. Visit the Orca Owners Club to let us know what you’d like to see next.
