Expanded Chart Coverage and Availability
November 14, 2024 • 1 min read
Orca is available in Australia along with new charts for Europe, Oceania, and the Pacific.
Charts are the cornerstone of any marine navigation system, and Orca’s chart coverage has grown considerably over the past few years.
Until today, Australia, Estonia, and Turkey were the most requested areas that Orca boaters and prospective Orca customers wanted coverage for. This week’s update includes charts for those countries and many islands in the Pacific: Cook Islands, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, and Samoa.
This expansion is significant because it means Orca Charts now cover the complete northern Mediterranean coastline and the typical stops of a Pacific crossing. For a visual overview of the coverage, visit the new Chart Coverage Viewer.
The new Chart Coverage Viewer lets you easily understand Orca's chart coverage.
Coverage expansion is an ongoing process and priority is based on requests from Orca owners and prospective owners. If you are missing charts, don’t hesitate to reach out since your vote will be used to determine where we expand next.
As always, the new charts are available to all Orca customers at no added cost. Orca is now also shipping to Australia – bringing modern boating to the land down under.
