Customer Reviews
After 2 years, we never looked back.
After 2 years with Orca as our primary navigation and tour planning tool (Orca Core+ app and tablets) we never looked back at our the old fashioned plotter. What we value most is properly, the stability, and easy of use, together with fast development, thatkeeeps making the products even smartere and easy to use.

Show Full ReviewA dabble in alternatives
After a season sailing to from Victoria BC, Canada to Glacier Bay, Alaska, USA and back, Orca was surprisingly good. We expected few hiccups and issues but for our purposes, as effectively a backup navigation and information display system, it was almost flawless. Out boat has a B&G system with Navionics installed. this allows anyone with a Cellphone to check any information on the NMEA backbone. So when one of us who is not on watch wants to know the windspeed, its easy to check. We enjoyed the simplicity of setup and ease of use. The included charts proved useful, no worse than navionics in our view. All we installed was the orca core, using android tablets and cell phones. The orca display appeared expensive and seems to be running a very outdated Android version, hence we never investigated further.

Very user friendly.
Show Full ReviewHappy interaction with NMEA but subscritions more aimed for sailboats.
Happy to be using Orca a little while now. However i find the most useful part for me is the logging. Could improve by being more focused on the motor boat side for me personally with regards to the subscriptions. Hopefully this will change in future subscriptions.
