Getting started with Orca

Installing Orca in your boat

Tools and functionality

Before you install Orca

The Orca Core and the Orca Display Kit are designed to be installed by boaters and professional integrators alike.

Please do keep in mind that the installation may require drilling holes in your boat’s dashboard and will require connecting the system to your boat’s power supply. It is your own, or your integrator’s responsibility to install the equipment in a safe manner.

If this sounds daunting, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hello@getorca.com and we’ll guide you through any questions you may have. We’re also available for a video call to give you on-site consultation before or during your installation if needed. E-mail us to book a time.

If you have purchased an Orca Display Kit, keep in mind that the Orca Display Kit connects to the Orca Core via a physical cable to enable charging. This means that you will have to install your Orca Core in the vicinity of your Orca Charging Mount to be able to guide the 1.5mt long power cable between the devices.

Our early users spend thirty minutes to one hour to install an Orca Core, and about thirty minutes to install the Orca Charging Mount.

We recommend that you read through the entire installation guide before beginning to install your new Orca product. Should you have any questions, please reach out at hello@getorca.com

Next up, how to install your Orca Core.
